Good morning to all, I am a new member of the forum:smile: I just started using revit architecture, and my project plans to recover an existing building. the problem is that I have only paper planimetries of which I did the scans, and there are those who advise to start by playing such planes in autocad before proceeding with revit and who recommends to "recalcare" directly in revit. what do you recommend me? then taking confidence with the various elements of the project I realized that I have difficulty in inserting windows. I explain better: if amount a cad, can't you insert a window with a width indicated in the cad?devo insert a model window and then edit it? but how can I place it correctly (at the millimeter!) from the cad file that I would have as reference to recalcate? excuse the thousand questions, and thank you in advance for the help!

I would recalculate in autocad... but depends on how familiar you have with each other

Model window? What? However, once inserted, even by chance, you can move it with temporary quotas (at the millimeter! )

Meanwhile thank you for the answer... autocad I know to use very well, revit are at the beginning...I meant window passing by two points, like how it works in archlines...thanks a thousand!

in revit windows are families loaded, usually, parametric. decide how wide and high they should be through the properties of the type
