Good morning to all,
I use map3d for just under a year and I have found a problem that I can not solve despite the indications on the autodesk guide and the various forums.
I explain briefly: I would need to connect as a data source a table of an excell file and I cannot understand what features should have the file and table to be recognized. I press that I have the necessary drivers, 64bit office and I correctly configured the odbc connection.
when I connect the file, in the "connect to data" screen opens me under x, y, z, etc. columns but I do not see anything selectable.
from what I understood the excell sheet must have certain characteristics, type page range etc. etc. Unfortunately I do not have too much confidence with excell so I would need to be guided step by step for this procedure. with arcgis it is very simple to create points with attributes from an excell file while with map3d I still can't solve.
