import files format pvz in creo 2.0

Good morning, everyone!

I ask your help for the problem reported in the title. I received a .pvz file that I didn't even know existed in all honesty and after a short search it turned out to be an express productview format. happy with this I try to import it into creo with the classic file>open, I find the format between the files, appears the mask of import options but in the end I get an incomplete import: in the tree (together because it is dealt with together) appears only a component with the same name of the pvz file and a tick to the side that does not allow me neither to expand nor to operate you in any way.
the same file opened in productview express (the last downloaded from ptc) instead opens correctly, shows the components of the axieme, of course without allowing me to edit them in any way. I should also try with creo 3 but we have not yet made the upgrade due to lack contract maintenance. . .

So I wonder, what's wrong? can you import this format and then edit it? Need a special license to import this format? Is there any parameter in the config to set?

thanks to those who will have the patience to answer me ^_^

Surely it is for a compatibility problem, but still if you open them in creo, forget to be able to edit them and if to edit you intend to change their geometry as if it were a cad creo model.
greetings

I did a couple more tests, and I think you took it completely. I created a pvz from my set I create 2 and I tried to reimport it into creo without having the slightest problem.
and anyway to give you again reason I have seen precisely that geometry is degraded to a polygonal model therefore, unusable :d
I already have to the client that you send me a more human file, let's see when it comes

Thank you so much!
