import from archicad 12 to 3ds msx 2010

Hello, I tried to import a job (made in archicad) saving the file, from the perspective view, in 3ds format and exporting for materials.
when I go importing the file in 3ds max, it tells me that the file format is not valid!
I don't know how to solve the problem... !

You say the 3ds format is not accepted? Strange.
have you tried as "archicad objects (native output)"?

otherwise save as dwg always from window 3d, perhaps better if " generic prospective".
