import problem in step format

I have to import on nx6 a 3d set made with inventor, which I received in step 203 format and on two files because cut into two pieces to be sent via email. a first problem is that they are very heavy, but with a little patience I loaded them. The other problem is that I have to join them: I wanted to know how I can sew them together and allege the mat.

Perhaps the work becomes a little long, but if the command does not work in the import "sew surface automatically" I would open files for files closing the surfaces with the sew (also coarse) and then I would export parasolid.. .
