Hello, everyone!
I have solidworks 2022 + pdm

Should I import and transform different 2d dxf and dwg designs into solidworks format?

Thank you.

You can do it quietly with "planning utility".
select the files and let it grind.

he will turn them into 2d rows of sw.

my curiosity, why convert dwg files to 2d sw?
then take the most useful view and turn it into 3d?

Yes, I am recovering about 200 files made with autocad, in the meantime I start importing them, then with time I will use the view to transform them into 3d. itanto I can already update the carts and make them similar to the drawings made with solidworks

excuse, but "planning utility" is a function of solidworks? or is it an external application?
