is it possible to import within a model a surface belonging to another model? the surface, however, must be independent.

I would like to understand if it is possible to import it without having to make copy and paste from an axis in which both models appear.

the problem arises from the fact that I passed from wf2 to creo 2.0.
a model was made with wf2 (the surface in question with the isdx package) while the specular model was made with creo2.0 (without the isdx package) so the style surface in this case can not recreate it exactly the same.
help

synthetically I would recommend you export it from wf2 as .neu file. in creo creates an independent geometry feature and imports here the .neu file previously exported. from here you can change it without isdx using the controls for technical surfaces (extended, trim, boundary blend, etc.). Tell me if that's enough.

hi, I've been banging my head all morning on how to import srfs into independent geometry: with the wf2 was simple, among other things I found a beautiful video that explains it but with creo I don't understand just how to do it.

1- I go to the axieme
2 - active the component in which I have to copy the RF
3 - cover and take off the surfaces of the other model
4 - I go to the model where the surfaces have been glued
5 - creo feature of independent geometry (menu to tendon---> recovers data --> independent geometry)
6 - at this point I am stuck: from the menu that opens of creo I can not understand what I have to do to import the copied surfaces in the feature of independent geometry...... I miss a step...

I need a hand
