importare mesh in alias?

Hi guys, I wanted to ask you if it was possible to import mesh from rhino in alias: I have a scan that rhino recognizes me as mesh and when I go to expoertare everything in igs warns me that in this format the mesh will not be imported, and in fact I don't care... Does the mesh matter in the step format? and once imported it is possible to save the file in igs or wire without disappearing?

both .iges and .step do not support mesh.
export to dwg/dxf or better in .stp, then amounts in alias and saved in .wire.
