importing files to me on the work plane

I searched in the archive, but I didn't find an answer to my question, and even the online guide isn't very clear about it.

I received a 2d layout and would like to import it on a 3d worktop to use it as a design track.

in annotation I saved the laypout as a sketch, and then I saved it in mi format. then I returned to modeling, I created a pl and used the command to open-->import 2d-->elect the file to me. The result of this workflow is that you reopen annotation with the file I had just saved, while instead the work plan in modeling remains empty.

How do I do that?

I open the drawing in annotation and clean it of what I don't need (you can do it even after)
then go a vulgar copy do a drawing window and cleicchi copy
go to 3d with an active plan and paste and he puts 2d geometry on the work plane
checks only the scale of the size usually keeps them at the ransom limit

then trying and retrying I managed in my intent in this way:

in modeling environment with active pl:

file--?apri-->import type: mi (*.mi *.lyt)

the correct procedure is the one described above by "cacciatorino".
or create an active work plan and then from the modeling charge menu select as a type of file(*.mi, *.lyt).

Alternatively the copy and paste from annotation also works.

if you have rel 19 you can also directly load dwg with the same procedure by selecting the import 2d loading option in the worktop.

attention: modeling, using a precision of 10-6 has a working sphere of about 100 mt. if you do not care anything is because probably the 2d is too far from the origin of the coordinates. I recommend before importing to approach the design to the origin of the boards.
