importing step files into one part

I should import a step file, but when I care it creates a set with various parts. I want it to be a single part, all welded. I didn't find any "voice" in the import window that could give me a hand. I don't know if there are useful options in the "common option" area, but it's not selectable. thank you

you have to create a new side file
exit from the sketch and from the 3d model menu - import-, select the file to import

open a new part then create - derives and loads the axieme you want to transform into part multibody. save and find yourself with the part.
