Good morning.

I imported a dwg on rhinoceros. I have selected a series of surfaces that I would like to explode but the program says impossible to explode individual surfaces. What to do?
Thank you.

if they are single surfaces those cannot explode, they are single entities
If you have more surfaces, but by selecting one, you can all be grouped.

command separates and solve the problem

often with dwg but also with iges coming from various programs (home autodesk) you have this problem

ciao il marangon and thank you for the answer.
are single entities so as confirmations I cannot explode them.

I would be interested, in reality, at the trace of such surfaces on a plane.
how to by-pass the problem? Can I use the projected command on the surface?
I am a neophyte, sorry for the trivial questions:)

Sure, pull out the contour of your superfice (boundary) and project it on a surface.
