Hello everyone, I installed creo 2.0 m010 on my old pc, but compared to the same version used at work I noticed this substantial difference: when I go on option - config.pro editor I find this window (in attachment) where there is no choice of where to upload the config.pro file (or at least I think it does that).
in the installed version I find only the file "current_session.pro" in the path c:\users\public\documents (which of course I can change in a more personalized one. ..maybe directly in the workbook) but there is no "config.pro" or in any case I do not find it ...and even if I create it as I charge it since the appropriate section is missing? ?
Thank you...I count on you

If you already have a config.pro file, try placing it in the creo boot folder, and see if you upload the settings of your configuration file.

if you do not have a config.pro file, try, from the window you show through the import/export command to export the file. then try to close and reopen I create and see if you read the correct file.

Bye!
then, the config.pro finds it in the "text" folder:
c:\program files\ptc\creo (your creo version)\common files\text

what I recommend is not to change the default config.pro, but to copy it and paste it into a directory to you more convenient.
to make you create loads at every start your custom config.pro:
  1. copy the directory where the custom config.pro is located
  2. go to the properties of the icon you normally use to start create
  3. in the "link" tab, paste the directory in the "by:" field
  4. click apply and then ok
Let me know if you solved the problem

ok, thanks to both, in fact I knew the procedure proposed from davide98 and in fact I also used to work a special folder where I entered my config.pro file and then uploaded it by changing the path from the exe file of the program.
the problem is that this time it didn't work and even the program crashed ... and so I wondered if I was wrong something, in addition I noticed that anomaly in the "configuration editor" window and so I was convinced that I had to do something different.
instead I realized that the error is my because I claimed to load the same file config.pro of the work, where were reported a whole series of configurations that referred to paths and directories existing in my pc....I think that was the reason for the crash because once cleaned up and simplified the config.pro, the procedures proposed by davide98 works (remains instead the anomaly on the window configuration editor).
as I wanted to understand, now that I correctly load my file confi.pro, if it needed to have the same folder also the file "current_session.pro" or if it could do without it.
Thank you.
