If you can't intervene on the model, the directions are always the ones I have written I don't know how many times:
disable views in hidden lines mode
deactivate tangent lines
disable hidden entity selection
disable selection through transparency
put the views on which you do not work in shady mode without borders or even better hide them
............ .... .

I would add: make multiple files for different sheets instead of keeping them all in one file.

Obviously it is uncomfortable, but it solves many problems related to performance.

I try, some proposals are not popular. I would add:

• files must be updated to the version of solidworks cad 3d installed.
• the axieme must not contain any errors or notices of any kind.
• files must always be local: never work online!!
• avoid unnecessary details such as threads (unless mandatory): There are cosmetic threads!

If you do this, maybe you have to analyze all the details by evaluating the performance. cosmetic threads should not be included in a large set except in the views where it is necessary to represent them.

Hi.
question that goes a bit ot.
Since it doesn't have to be all the time pleasant to repeat the same things, why don't you create faqs on the forum with the most frequent topics/requests?
I say it because sometimes I am also 15/20 minutes (which is so much, too long if one in the meantime must also work) to search for topics already treated not to make double posts, but not always research returns the desired results.
I believe (my opinion of course) that a faq section is faster and more decisive.

Buonasera a tutti . L'azienda per la quale lavoro dispone di un solidoworks 2015 e 2016 , stiamo utilizzando la versione 2015, su una macchina con il seguente hardware CPU i7 4790 , scheda video Nvidia quadro K2200 , pensavo che il sistema dovesse volare, invece noto grossi problemi con assiemi...

Il sistema è diventato superlentissimo man mano che l'assieme si sta completando con più componenti. Intel (R) Core (TM) i5 - 4670 CPU @ 3.40 GHz. Memoria installata 16,0 GB. Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Solidworks 2012 Service Pack 05. Scheda video NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 4 GB. Cosa potrà...

e non ha tutti i torti Premetto che a giorni faro' venire in ufficio l'omino dell'assistenza (650 euri sigh) E ormai da un'anno che siamo passati a solidworks (ora ho la 2010 ) ma ogni volta che ci spingiamo a costruire assiemi con piu' di 200 componenti comprese le toolbox il sistema va in...

No, but quiet!! I wasn't saying you have to rewrite everything, I was just wondering why there was no faq section like in other forums, that's all.
