work with the 2008.1 version of thinkdesign
and is installed on three pc stations,
on one of these if I stop with the pointer (the dart) on a corner of a component I will see the following information:
component: component name xxx / curve length mm xxx
on the other two positions only shows me the information length of the curve mm xxx
how can I do to have on other posts the component name too?

to view component information you need to set the selection of thinkdesign to top component:
find the command in the selection toolbar.

In the options of the document, if I'm not mistaken, you can also see location and quantity. .

You need to open the model you're working on
among the various standard toolbars that you have at your disposal there should be one that is called select that you see below:

the icon I have indicated allows you to choose between 4 modes:

1. Faces
2. solids
3. leaf components
4. first level components

The mode you need to use is that of first-level components
in this way thinkdesign selects only the components and not the racked entities in them.

In the system property, find the voices that I've indicated here is an example.

Now I do not remember if these flags with the 2008 version were where I am pointing to you or were in the configurations of tteam ..
