If you want to do a serious thing, do the cast (tutorial of nx up to 8.5) you must have the license (which costs a few euros) to download it. It's worth it.

Maybe I explained badly, the license of the cast is in addition to any license of nx. It costs little in relation to the cad license and I don't know if it's still on the list now. There is a list, I think, an online training. However, you must have a cad license.

with nx you can not have 2 parts in 2 windows. I hope they eliminate this limit soon, but for now it is so.
If you need to have 2 parts on 2 different windows you need to create an assembly with the two parts as children and then in one window you activate one and in the other the second.

in nx there is the concept of work part and displayed part.
You have to pay attention to this concept.
If you double-click on a part in the assembler you will see its features because you are in work part on the part, but in the context of the assembly.

if you use the master model concept you have to activate the drafting environment which is a separate file.
you can switch from 3d to 2d also passing through the windows command... to activate the drafting environment you can also do ctrl/d
