insert fair points on 3d polylinea

Bye to all,
as always I am here for information, at least for you banal, but to which I cannot give a solution.
I am working in a project (with autocad 2010) with 3d polylines on which I should insert points every 50 cm. (point that obviously has x,y and z coordinates)
How do I insert them? Is there a particular command? (of course I do not want to measure the length of these lines and then go to divide them).

I can't in either case insert a point every 0.5 meters if not first by measuring the line and then by dividing it into x points.

command: measure
select the object to be measured:
specify segment length or [Blocco]: write_length
I recommend that you always read what the software requires! ! !

The right way is measured, I ask for the wrong solution proposed beforehand.
do not measure anything, the sequence of commands is the following (just verified for safety).
-Open the measure command
-choose polylinea
-type the range between one point and the other
- if you haven't already set the variable pdmode in such a way as to have visible points

the split mode serves when you have a determined length and you know the number of divisions (for example a scale with a defined number of pedestrians)
