insert symbol in text

I should create an engraving of a writing and a symbol (dream).
using the text of the sketch I create the writing, when I have to insert in the symbol they are in difficulty because I have available the various fonts but I do not see from keyboard what to type to insert the desired symbol.
how can you find the symbol you want to get?

I solved from the " insert symbol" window within the text dialog box.
but you get there.

how can you find the symbol you want to get?

hi technomodel, I think the best thing is to insert the arrow through map characters (all programs->accessori-> utility system-> map characters). select the arial font and scroll down then simply copy/paste by selecting the arrow. otherwise when you create the text on the right you will find a drop-down menu ( insert symbol) click on it, the last symbol below takes you directly to the character map.
