Hello everyone, I recently bought a pc with windows 7 to 64 bit.
when I try to install archicad 15 to 64 bit part program extraction but not installation. I tried on another pc and the program works perfectly.
I tried with "execute as administrator", to create the administrator account, to insert compatibility with windows xp etc..., but nothing.
I tried to install a 32-bit version, just for curiosity, but nothing even!
Do you have any suggestions to give me?

hello pamela, have you verified that archicad 15 is just the 64-bit version?
'Cause if it's 32-bit, it wouldn't even cry.
the administrator account is already default, so it was useless to create it, to use it however, you need to access it in temporary mode by pressing f8 at the start of the pc.

rather the account you have accessed has administrator privileges or is it standard?
because this might be another reason why it doesn't make you install it.

Well, that's normal. if you try to install 32-bit software on a 64-bit operating system, at least it tells you that the version is incompatible and does not install it.
rather, what message does it give you when it tells you that it cannot install it?
Is there any window with a particular message or nothing coming out?

If you get a few messages, try posting the image that we might see to understand what it depends on, if not otherwise it's a little hard to give you suggestions not knowing exactly what happens.

Then try this: manually extract the contents of the archive with a program like winrar (if you did not install it, download it as well from the internet and install it, as well as the 30-day trial version goes well at the oop), click with the dx button on the executable of the archive and choose "outside in" and accept the path that gives you by default (usually create a folder in the current location of the file with the same name).

1) even if I don't think it depends on this, try it costs nothing. try to disable the uac of windows (user account control) in this way: click on the "start" button, then in the search box type uac and finally click on "change the user account control settings" that appears at the top in the start menu.
move the cursor to the bottom position corresponding to " never notify" and the ok. then try installing the program again.

2) even if it is pallous, I would try to reload the archive from where you picked it up and install it ex novo (this to prevent there is any kind of defect in the archive you downloaded), of course you can temporarily move the original archive into the trash or another part of the disk in the meantime.

3) if the previous operations had no effect, as the last beach, try to leave in temporary mode by pressing the f8 heel at the start and try to install it in this mode, even if I doubt it will work. Still you try.
