interchange and windchill axis

Good morning to all boys, I write because I would like to ask for your guru's parare about a topic that here in the company from me represents a discreet rupture of boxes. . .

as from title we talk about axioms of interchange; in a fairly remote past (there is talk of about ten years ago) we started the configuration of interchange assemblies convinced that their use would bring a remarkable speeding of the procedures of substitution of the components of a set.
over the years we realized that all this was not for us and so we stopped maintaining the interchange axis that were still within our intralink database.

in the last year, passing to windchill we are noticing that if a general is somehow tied to a set of interchange does not do what to genre, in our workspaces, a trafile of ghost files quite annoying.

I therefore wanted to begin to "bonify" everything by eliminating all the links between generics and interchange assemblies and then cancel them once and for all.

see particular contraindications?
would you tell me a methodology to untie models from the axieme and then delete it? Frankly I don't know where to go.... .

If these generics of family table are however axioms with inside variants of sub-axioms, but nested is a complete slaughter!

No, I feel like I can rule it out... in principle they are only generic.prt with children.prt.....without axioms or compound objects.... .

I confirm what Ozzy said, it could be a slaughter.

we often have to resort to purge, because for example some parts (not family table) to a specific iteration contains references to other parts or assemblies not in use, so we have to purge the part, and leave for example the last iteration eliminating all the previous ones.

sometimes there are cases that are so lame that it is really difficult to understand something.

I don't know if what I described can help you, but maybe you can take the cue to find a useful technique to solve your problem.
