Unfortunately there are no solutions. it is not possible to convert a revit file for the previous version (a lot of autocad to understand us)

the file of revit is not a combination of lines and circles (like a file of autocad); the objects contained there are much more complicated and it is not said that they are equal from one version to the next (see scales and railings 2012 and forecasts and scales and railings 2013). Sometimes it even happens that opening an old project on a new version some elements are not editable because now obsolete.
this is something that autodesk inherited from the old developers (revit technologies); historically revit has never had, from version 1, the possibility of retro-saving.
