Bye to all,

I'm doing some nx 1984 driving exercises (student) and I can't figure out why if I want to do a model1 extrusion just click on extrusion and select the curve that belongs to the part with the central hole (or use that part to create a sketch) automatically nx activates that model.
but should not give me the chance to create the interpart link?

the question is basic I know, but I used nx many years ago and I remember not much.

Thanks to who will help me.

because you're taking a reference somewhere else.
To do this you must first import the curve into the part you want to work and then extrude it.
to do so you have to go to the "assieme" tab click on the "wave geometry linker" and select the curve between the menus and then select the curve you want.
at this point you can go in your part and do the extrusion

ciao @hope ,

you have to do 2 things: first disable the flag highlighted in the figure, then put whole together in the selection and activate the 'catenelle' of the interpart link.
I hope I was clear, bye.

Great, thank you for answering me.

the method suggested by wall87 works but that of baskets is exactly what I saw in some siemens videos and that I was trying to do.
first disable the flag highlighted
I cannot find the option to disable the flag highlighted in your figure. Maybe it's my student version that doesn't allow it? I attached the image of what I have.

Thank you again!

I meant the link of the video you saw, not the screen where to find the customer default del
