I'm trying to connect caia with svn servers to make some kind of domestic pdm.
I managed to create a macro that exposes in excel the bom of a product, then with a macro on excel manipol and carry in text format, then (in the end?) with svn I checkin/checkout of the project.
but in order to do everything I have to do many manual steps. I would like to implement it all on a single command given by the outside of the catia world.
i.e., I would like to create an external command that does not need to open a casket to "decide" what the components files of a product are.
it is possible to access information about the structure of the files without opening casket, there
