Hello everyone,

I open this discussion apologising earlier if I couldn't find the answer I'm looking for in the forum.

problem found:
launch the program, opens the image of the version 2012, remains for a few seconds on the disply then disappears
and nothing happens (inventor has not started).

I installed inventor 2012 x64bit in a portable acer aspire 5742g
intel processor i3 m380 @ 2.53ghz,
ram 4gb
so w7 home premium
video card geforce gt 540m

I think the problem has been created in the installation phase:
performed the first installation I had two possibilities a)try for 30gg b)activation.
I initially chose "a", I saw if the program worked (partitely),
I came out of the application, I raised inventor
this time with the intent to switch to the variant "b", I followed the various requests for activation
at the end of the procedure I got the error message with cod. 0115.000.(from that time it is no longer broken)

next steps:

1)Uninstalled all programs that deal with inventor from "Control Panel-->programs and features"
2)viewed with "cerca-->inventor" all files and folders that had to do with inventor
(I did not use the function "view hidden folders")
3)Deleted all folders that deal with inventor (also in users, there are 2)
4)Deleted the inventor folders in the registry to the addresses indicated in the uninstallation procedures
autodesk products (- hkey_current_user\software\autodesk
- hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk)
5)Launch the ccleaner program and clean up the whole system.
6)renewed the system
7) reinstalled inventor
8) the procedure ends without any error.
9) inventor launch, no longer appears (as in the first installation) the window in which you have to choose the option of 30ggs or activation but attempts the standard startup that ends in nothing! ! !
10) the same thing happens if I launch inventor as administrator

I imagine that the fact of not asking whether to activate or not the program depends on the information that it finds and that obviously have not been eliminated in the phase of uninstall-cleaning (where are still contained other info about inventor? ).

I hope very much in your help and thank you in advance for the fundamental indications you can give me.

Good morning,

I hope again in a help,:frown:

I understand that the subject is no longer interested but for me to solve the problem.
problem is of fundamental importance.

I ask for help, if not direct of the problem, at least of someone who has heard about it maybe even in other forums and so I can "link"
in discussions concerning the question.

for the record I tried, meanwhile, still to uninstall and clean both the folders and the register with new paths indicated by the service of autodesk
but the result is always the same.

...and my bad luck non I created an image of the disk:mad::mad:

Good morning.
I happen to have something like this; I don't remember if the error code was there.
however it is win 7 that from these problems
the advice I can give you is as follows:
in windows, create a new local account, not domain.
assign it to the administrators group and try to execute inventor from this account.
greetings

thanks workped for availability and advice, but it was not the solution for my case.

I still solved the problem,

I send this conclusion to give support to the forum community in case it could come back useful.

the problem is to be sought in the management of data related to activation.
it seems that the installation also generates accessory applications (such as flexnet) that are used not only in the case of "client" stations but also for those single-user ones.
It is likely that with the first activation the file to which flexnet was pointing (check on event display, administrative), I replaced and updated the file in question, reinstalled inventor and finally appeared the activation view.

good morning workped,
I had a problem similar to that of gigas.
I press that everything was working yesterday, this morning I'm going to start it and I'm jumping out the error report window.
I create a new user administrator account, try to start invetor and this time part!
question: do you have a suggestion to make it start again with my previous account? Is there any setting on the old account that has changed itself? Thank you.
