Hello.

I would like to have some disappointment for the interface between the 2 software in question.
using bare and raw soap is an abominable thing not practicable.

Is the vault interfaceable with sap?

I don't care about exaggerated functions, but only a quick tool for coding, search existing codes, separate basic compliation that should take them directly from inventor.
As the codes are detached from know I need something that you interrupt know release the code and I insert the description of the part/assieme etc...
according to me at ut level you must use inventor + pdm and know for the management that we should not even open.
When I used caia we had smarteam and oracle, but at ut level we never used the latter.

Is there anyone who has and uses these two software??

Good morning.

from me we use inventor, sap but through the ectr interface.
what I can say from my experience is that it is not optimal to today, and vault from what I know can be integrated on sap.
I would be in you to evaluate with your autodesk supplier and know how to make them talk to each other (vault and sap), it will take customizations but, in my opinion, it would be better than ectr. The latter is a young product, so it still has gaps. Moreover it really takes so many hours of customization so the rising cost, as well as a continuous support according to the business needs.

use bare and raw sap would be like using access for a user of theut, since it should bring everything back by hand. with possibility of error +1000%.

we insert each data from ectr, and through a "create material" button we create all the document part for sap.
via sap directly, to date, we must create everything that is managed by meter and not by piece, the additions to the distinct of the above pieces per meter, and the commercial components so that we can attach the technical sheet.
