I'd like to ask a question.
I should design an iron cover a sort of canopy to cover the car.
What program do you recommend me to use?
the structure must be made of iron and must be complete with all the details for assembly.

since you use catia and that above you asked for advice on autocad, of course without being worthy to answer, if you know how to use them both are fine.
Incidentally, whether iron or marzipan is irrelevant to the software used, also for the intended use.
what really matters, and focuses on software marginally, are the knowledge of design, structural calculations, drawing and finally, but not least, of regulations

I make wooden structures from banals to more or less complex, but keep in mind that even the coolest program does what you ask. idem for calculations.

and then there's the technology of the material you're using. I mean that a node, a connection perhaps to calculation is verified, and it is, but perhaps there are other 3 possible solutions that, although equally verified, cost less/they are simpler to realize/are aesthetically better/allow greater flexibility etc etc. etc.
and this thing comes with the experience, study and knowledge of materials you use etc.

As far as the program is concerned, they all do well. maybe you can also find something free with your commercial profiles. . .

Sorry but how the questions are being asked, trap which you do not have just the slightest knowledge of what you want to do. I hope to be wrong and in case I ask vein and recommend only to ask the question more "technical".
