keep colors in step

on 14.05-2009 we talked about this theme,
it was said that changing the protocol application from 203.iso to 214.iso,
you could all export a model with the step format keep colors.
to me does not work, to read the step remains completely of gray color.
Does anyone know how to keep colors?

I believe that I have understood the problem.
the fact and that I was in an assembly and I was not assigning the color well to the individual parts. problem solved
