lacerations and divisions

I am a neophyte of solidworks and I would like to pose a problem that perhaps for some is of simple realization.
that operations I must perform to divide the attached path into three pieces: the base and the two side.
I tried to use laceration but it only works in some corners....

when you have a problem with a file you have to attach your own with inside all the historian on how it is managed and the functions used; attaching the step from which you started does not serve anything mainly because you can use different import options that can give different results and then fake the suggested solution in departure.
I'm taking this step together, like you?
If you loaded it together, then you saved it as a part?
Moreover given the geometry has more possibilities of division according to how then you want to develop and produce

laceration function is a function of sheet metal and if you do not have a sheet, understood as a solidworks element, it makes no sense to use it

Unfortunately this is what the client sends and I have to arrange. . . I hoped with the laceration command to open it both on the straight and radiated edges.... in the end I had to do some extrusions to remove the cap first and develop the body and then vice versa..... thanks... .
