hello to all
I should draw a calandered parable sheet, (continuous section, e.g. sp.2mm h150) which leaves at height 0 and, during the curve and at its end, you get to a difference of 200mm...... would you know how to help me?
....I would have to do it with the sheet form to develop it!? ? ? ? ?
practically a plate is dropped by placing it tilted.
I probably didn't explain myself well, I attach a simplified example of what I look for

....I managed to do something more credible...but not yet how it should be, especially to understand how to calculate the parameters of the curve or, possibly, an equation that regulates it.

we start from the beginning:
ask you to help make the sheet that has certain characteristics
attach a part that is already a sheet that stretches without problems
Your problem is you didn't like it.

pulling the sums:
how could we know that your request was about the aesthetic improvement of development since you didn't say that? and always we, how can we know where to put hands to correct it since we do not know the final result you would like to achieve?

Good day
there are various ways to get a result of this type. according to your design constraints should the modeling method be optimized, give us some more info?

the simplest: make a larger sheet starting from the sketch on the xz plane (just on your image) and create a folded sheet that can contain the finished one you need. then with the command stretch it to the top, make the cut to create the "parabola" and with the command bend the fold. simple, but difficult to control in a context of together.... .

Hi.
Sorry if I didn't make myself feel any more, I solved exactly as you said.....schizzo 2d with projection path;
- extruded central surface from which I drew ribbon shoulders etc.
- the sheet metal parts I turned them from surface and with extended and folded controls I cut the individual sheets.

thanks for the advice
Good job
