Good day to all,
My name is francesco and I work for a Ligurian metal company.
we have been looking around for the purchase of a laser marker to affect technical data on the plates of our products.
Until today we used a punch plate that stamped the characters on aluminum plates.
the reasons that push us to purchase this machine are essentially 2:
1. the machine we have is now obsolete and no one is more able to repair it in case of failure
2. the laser machine would be very useful on some products that we sell as semi-finished therefore not finished parts, where we do not have the possibility to mount a plate and therefore data for traceability
I visited several potential suppliers, I also went to the pleasure fair this week but I must say that knowing little this technology is quite difficult to choose so much more that I don't even know companies that use these machines to ask for advice
of the many producers that I have visited and who have made me also samples I would have found four interesting ones and, practically everyone offers me a different technology, obviously claiming that they are the best, and at the price level they are practically equivalent and all four propose a machine of about 10w of power.
The machine will have to be able to affect both steel and natural aluminium, we do not have particular speed requirements, it will not be a machine to be mounted on a production line but it is important that it is as versatile as possible also because we hope that the machine will last at least fifteen years so it is possible that in the future it can change the production and we should be able to affect even other materials.
not least I categorically exclude machines with the source produced in cina.
I wanted to know if there is any user of the forum who has experiences of this type and, in the meantime, he wanted to ask moderators if it is possible to make freemnete names of laser manufacturers companies
