layer iso riferimento

Good morning to all,
I received some tables from a supplier who manages to put in the background of details, and are located on the iso reference layer.
Does anyone know how to explain? the layer and the gray one

on the 3d you put the component as reference
for colors, are customizable in inventor through styles
