Good morning.

I am new with autocad (I have always used cad 3d as caia or solidworks). However, at the working level I was asked to set up the plant layout. in a few words I have several autocad files of the factory but the problem is that each person updated only the layout of their department. So, I have a file with the updated "mounts" department but everything else is an old version, then I have a file with the updated "saving" department but the rest is old, etc... at this point I have very little time available. How can I proceed? Is there a way to overlap cad files and make a copy and paste of what I care about?

you should attach all files (xref) to a host file and, with the ncopy command, copy from the references the updated parts in the host file

Forgive me Tristan, rereading is misleading.
I laughed because your solution is correct and feasible, but I think daniel is equivalent to Arabic.
I imagined the expression of daniel reading.
It wasn't for you, your process is decisive, but I think it's very "over" than the user's convenience.

I thought it too: definitely unexceptionable solution, but for me incomprehensible.
@daniel_98 copied all the planes into a single file, maybe put one by layer and call it with its name (mounts etc). if you have, as I believe, valid references for all the planes (e.g., the corners of the shed) start to copy on a planimetry without plants (so only walls, stairs, openings etc.) the various departments updated. in the end systems any shortcomings and/details and you find the updated planimetry, with the departments divided on layers (will it be convenient? boh...).
