Hi, I just signed up, I'm a mechanical engineering student, and I wanted opinions on who had already had a lot of experience: I would like to understand how to start approaching catia v5/ catia 3d experience.
on the cad I only have a minimal experience on creo and I did a private course on inventor because at the university it makes too little cad according to me.
I know that catia is one of the most advanced and also expensive cads (and in universities you do not do anywhere I seem to see) and I would like to understand how to start since there does not seem to be temporary versions for students , but I saw from the dassault site that there is a package less than a hundred euros for students to access 3d experience. (It would be useful to know if any of you did it)
Informing me that in jobs that use catia as software they are already looking for people with experience, but how is it possible? Are there courses that do not cost a sproposito? to the universes it is used only inventor or solidworks or to the most precisely create....it seems a cad very niche and I see that to use it is a great advantage. (I also care about the other dassault modules as simulia, enovia)
Do you have any advice on how I can move?
I apologize if I posted the wrong section.
p.s : catia v6 with 3d experience is like catia v5 with a different and more modern interface or are they different things?
Thank you in advance.
