leveled region - revit 2009

Hello
I would like to ask for information on the design of a leveled region
I am running the driving steps
but I'm struggling

the steps I follow are:

1.click on the command "leveled region"
2. a dialog box comes out where I click on "select"
3. click on the surface to level that becomes blue

. but there is no "modality of change" or something I don't know "sign the leveled region, or assign levels to points...

I don't understand. .

Someone could help me.

And then... Do I have to level the topographic surface to put a platform on it?

the command to be used is: "select and change", then it compresses the command to assign the level points, which are placed within the surface.

made the leveled surface, you can insert the platform.

p.s. the use of the leveled surface is optimized in application at different stages, as shown in the warning message. the use of a surface leveled in the same phase, involves a profile of the tereno "as leveled", and does not highlight the state "before" and "after" the leveling
