Good morning to all,
I was asked to carry out a small lifting hook (the load to be lifted is at max 50kg) but certified by a lifting accessory is included in the machine directive, but what is the reference legislation? can I make a hook composed of welded elements or should it be made only by fusion? Thank you.

hi, the reference standard is en13155;
you can also do it with welded elements, just as long as you guarantee the structural resistance requirements (in short, applying twice the load you have to stay below the material yield limit).
