Hi, I have a huge problem and I hope you can help me with your experience. I'm desperately looking for a something that makes a stop to a rotating object and has very small dimensions. I immediately expose you better the problem even if it will not be easy, I am not able to provide you with a scheme, would further complicate understanding. I have a cover of a container for cosmetics of circular shape with diameter ø60 mm and 5 mm high. such lid has a tooth that exits from the bottom 5 mm high. the lid is placed in rotation through a suction cup that takes it from the top leaving the bottom uncovered. Now I have the nexisity to place the lid in a certain way (turning it) using the tooth mentioned above to stop it in the risk position for the application. I initially used a small flap piston to verify that the system worked but currently I have to make everything aesthetically more acceptable therefore I look for something that can replace the piston. If I can attach some photos as soon as possible. the piston would be placed above the cover and suction cup, under the engine, because the underlying part must remain discovered. I thought of replacing the piston with an electromagnet but I didn't find any significant benefits... I know that it is difficult to understand everything without a scheme but I guarantee that it would further complicate things. In the meantime, I'll train you something that at least lets you know what I'm talking about. I hope you can help me with some of your advice!
