I talked to an acquaintance a long time ago, who told me to be a collaborator of the autodesk. I told him I was doing programs in lisp... and he threw a look at me, as if I told him that I write on clay tablets with cuneiform characters!
He said: "I used the lisp so many years ago!... is an obsolete language... No one uses it anymore... i programmo in dot net - activx - c++++ extra plus e vattelapesca!"
...
Maybe the lisp no longer uses it, but it seems to me that this forum is quite active! ...
Also looking at other software that use a programming language for so to speak "internal", it seems to me that the latter are not very different from the lisp: I refer to sketchup that uses the ruby or freecad that uses the python.
...
I let him gloat without adventure in useless crusades!
