good evening to all users,
I would like to iron a region (part of a group) so that the data field associated with the same region will return the value of the updated area.
thanks to those who want to collaborate

I also had the same problem: I created a polyline (the shape of a panel) and connected a data field to it. When I wanted to make a panel with windows inside, I was forced to use the regions, to subtract them from the panel area. Of course, once the region was created (and reassigned the data field), it was impossible to "turn" the region.
I found a simple solution: I did an associative retino and tied him to the data field.
Now by ironing the contours (in my example the square or the circle using the grips), changes the area and the data field is updated (need to regenerate the design).
nothing prevents you from putting the retino on an unprintable layer. . If you don't need it.

Thank you x11 start! the regions can be ironed by moving the edges (clicking on the edge with ctrl pressed), but the thing is a bit 'macchinosa'. I will follow your advice by trying with associative retini
