Good morning.
I used simulated (the basic version included in the standard creo license) with creo 6.0.2.
I started off because a team that we planned to give up. I press that I am not a simulation/fem expert and beautiful company and what I have done more or less by self-taught. so I wanted some advice from the most experienced and understand if we had done everything correctly.
the assistance in question is what you can see in the attached image.
to make the simulation I put the load, that is 500 kgf on the back of the front screwed plate, I assigned the materials to the various components and then I used the costrain:
- for the rods in the perforated flange I used pin, with fix both in rotation and movement
- the perforated flange I kept it steady with a rigor displacement on the back
- for the screws I used again a costraint pin with fix
the result seems good but I have seen that in the tab you finish model (it is not in English as it is called) actually there is an indication to create screw, but I can't use them because I don't understand how to do it.
