load multiple autocad sheets in one sheet but managed with layers

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if it was possible to create a single sheet (electric file) managed with layers.(multifoil).
start from zero..i. create za zero all ok, but if I already have a scheme with a tot of pages even 300, can you upload into one file and turn the individual pages into different layers?

I think the use of xrefs is more rational. loads all 300 dwg within a single design-pad, while maintaining the precious layers of each.

When you want to "spegnere" one of the 300 sheets, you put it like this:

marks all uploaded dwg (click on the first and shift-click on the last) then with ctrl-shift deselections what you care to keep active, finally unload.
