if you place a scheme and some value nicely.
in short, some extra indications you will have to give it; What, how and where do you load?

greetings

hi marco, then the tape serves for loading a gasifier with woody patch. the volume mass of the wedge is 250 kg/m^3 and has average dimensions between 3,15 and 45 mm with a coarse fraction of 1% with dimensions slightly greater than 63 mm. the patch is contained in a pyramid trunk hopper with lower vent of drainage area 200*200 mm^2 and total capacity of 150kg.
the tape has a first horizontal part where the loading takes place and a second part inclined to 45°. given the inclination, the tape has transversal strips that realize a sort of configuration to "tazza" with capacity of 1.4liter each list (considering also the rest angle of the moving material).
the step between the strips is 250mm and the useful containment width is 300mm (side has a bellows that avoids the lateral exit).
the height of the strips is 50mm and the hopper should be as close as possible to them.
the nominal speed of the tape is about 20 m/min for an hourly capacity of 1200 kg/h. the operation is however intermittent with about 5 drives per hour of the duration of 1 minute. (we must load the gasifier with 20 kg each 12 minutes)
my doubt is: the material that falls on the tape as it behaves at the start of this? also how can I assess the maximum force that requires me the tape to "grat" away the first layer of material?
I have seen that on the market there are vibrating power supplies that also allow a certain regulation of the flow and they would avoid the problem of inception of the material but we did not want to resort also to the acuisto of this. What do you think about it?

Thank you very much

Gabriele
