as from title I should get the design of a logo, to be used with a laser marker, which I now only have in jpeg format.
it would be convenient to insert the image into a drawing so that you can "recalcate" lines and texts.
in the drawing environment you do not activate me the "insert image" button, is there a way to do it?
or even a better method?
Thank you.

look at the program inkscape (it is opensource): is a "artistic" graphic program in vector format. among the various possibilities it offers there is also that of vectorizing jpeg images; obviously it is not an accurate thing, but perhaps it can suffice. . .

I'd rather draw it on inventor so I could handle it better.
I will have to make several tags with different size and text, with inventor I would work in an environment I know without having to learn to use a new software.

What do you think is better to operate?
I create the logo as a sketch symbol so that I can insert it from time to time where it serves?
or do I create a file with the only sketch of the logo and derive it when needed?
or anything?
considering also that it may happen to have to enlarge/reflect the logo according to the cases.

I would do the sketch and turn it into block and then I would charge it with a trivial copy paste managing so also the stairs.
if you want to get the top, you can generate a punch with the logo and then, determine the size from the punch options
see my post with "unthought" on the generation of punches

Hi.

What do you mean, "transform it into lock"?
I started creating a sketch symbol, I thought I'd use that.
