loss of components

I open this discussion as I'm getting something very strange with solidworks 2010. I was commissioned to review the sheets of a multi-lama for cutting timber. to facilitate my work, the company allowed me to work directly on the machine's aid on which several designers passed before me. The problem, which is also the subject of this discussion, is that there are "invisible" components on this whole. That's right, there are parts that are properly positioned and in sight but that, in fact, you don't see. opening the file for the particular you have the same problem. the working tree shows all the history of operations activated but the piece is not seen. The edges are also identified by the mouse. another curious thing is that by replacing the detail with a new one disappears also the particular immissed. But at the end what worries me more than anything is that while I was changing a component of the axieme this disappeared under my eyes showing all the problems described above and I couldn't recover it even by canceling the operations I had performed. Has any user ever had a similar problem?

The only thing that happened to me is to open a part to see the function tree and not see the part. ctrl+q and/or f should regenerate a bug that seems to me to display. I don't know if doing this on all components or directly from the axieme the problem is resolved. Good job.

could be the need for a cyrl+q as solid bodies might have been hidden. in that case you just have to view them, selecting them from the solid body folder and activating them. if that folder is not present (default is hidden if there is only one body) just display it by acting on the options.

It happened to me with the old sps, now with 4.0 I never happened again.
I solved this way:
open the invisible part, drag the function tree bar, rebuild
some functions (it is not said that you have to rebuild them all), save it and return to the set.
I, 90% of the time I solved so, also make sure you have not been
views that hide that part.
