Good evening, guys.

I am carrying out a project for the examination of mechanical technology, for precision a hub for the semi-axis of a car. the hub of course must be grooved, so I had thought of making a broaching process to get the 'millerighe'.
the problem is that in the project I must also insert the machine I used, with all its technical data.. are hours I look for uselessly on the internet at the sites of machine tool manufacturers. Could someone enlighten me? ?

thanks in advance :)

There are a lot of broachers, if you're looking in English, you'll find more. In recent years, apart from those who work in huge series and are not said, numerical control machines are used as single-cut tools and rotating table with two axes.
Actually, it's a teacher's fix, and in the end, even if you get the data, they don't even know a cabbage in most cases. will a brocciatrice ever see or use it? do they know that those of 1900 hydraulics had the return to cam that reverses the valve? the brocciatrici of once were a couple of meters long and the tools at least 600 mm long....

to make the millerighe the brocciatrici now have passed of fashion! now you use a motorized tool mounted on a tower of a cnc lathe.

Unfortunately I cannot invent everything of healthy plant, because in the project report I must insert the photos and therefore the technical sheet of the machine... If I had to do only calculations, I would have definitely invented something:)

Could you explain me better?
p.s I cannot use numerical control machines
Why can't you use cnc machines?
is it because your prof. has no idea that they exist and can do the above work?
If so were you take pictures of a set of limes starting from those to crumble and attach also the photos of memory of a parallelepiped of "ferro" perfectly smoothed and squared and a match plan with the blue of prussia, of which if you touch his "nostalgic plate" a nice vote however does not take it from you.

Unfortunately I have directives to follow, and these prevent me from using numerical control machines. you who are experts what you recommend.

use a shuffler, it is definitely a more convenient choice in the case of single pieces or small batches of production.
for manufacturers there are several such as cams, cabes, etc search on google and youtube to get an idea of how it works.

I do not understand the difficulty of finding a brocciatrice and the technical sheet and the photo.
googuing for example I found http://www.brocciatricivrv.it/brocciatrici.asp and if there is no card on the internet, I don't think it's difficult to raise the phone or send an email with written "I'm a student, for a university job I need....".
when the internet wasn't there or it was a half-key... so he got information. but is it possible that now that there are all possible and imaginable tools you have not yet clear the method to follow?
