machined welding

Hello everyone!
I came across a reworked welding, i.e. I have a classic rectangle cord of z20 and next to the joint of the two sheets I have a hole that intersects the cord. I can't create a feature that can remodel the welding.
What do you recommend? Do I need to shape the welds like a part?

Did you try to make a surface cut?
because if I don't remember the welding feature is created as a surface.

Can you see the head of the cord not to see the surface of the feature? to shape welds the only way is that of the weld module?
