Sorry, but I don't know how to fix this. . .
I received a pretty big set (enclosed image) and when I have to integrate it with my work it slows down considerably the pc there is a way to make this together a unique body since I need only the dimensions of encumbrance and interface? ? ?

Thank you.

with 2010 there are new ways to do it, but I see you use 2009 so you create a part, you drift component and choose the relevant axieme, so choose "reduced memory mode" in the options, will create a single part with the same geometry as the axieme.

pagnotz what would be the way to do it with 2010? Thank you.
I have not yet understood all of the new functions, however now you can do in the browser by clicking on representations -> level of detail with the right and choosing "new substitute", in practice you do not create a .ipt apart, but in the same file you create a simplified version

you tried, with 2009, to use the add-in "shrinkwrap" you find here --> http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/inventor_shrinkwrap/for me it was a fairy tale.
I say it was because I can't have it working anymore, a damn dll will scare me.

Bye.

ps. : it was integrated in rel 2010 but with different options that I have not yet seen well (I think it compressed more add-in )

Can it also be used with .step files or other files imported from different cads?
