Good morning to all
First of all I apologize if the argument is more oriented towards 3ds max but having to work from a set of inventor, maybe someone can help me.
basically one of my owners asked me if it was possible to create well made machines of our production and having in the suite of autodesk also 3ds, I started to take a look at it (I press that I never opened it and so I could skip some fundamental passage). generally the materials I use for the various components in inventor are 6-7 but when then I amount the assembling in 3ds, as seen from the image, in the menu "scene materials" I appear the list of all the materials assigned to each part (in the welded assemblies, it even divides all the components) and I should then go to assign the new materials to every single component that on machinery from 1000 and more parts.
do you know if there is any way to group them so as to take for example "polished aluminum", assign him a material and automatically he would then go to change them all? Thank you.
