Hello everyone, I am forced to work with 3ds, software I know very little.

Can you tell me how I could handle my help? I'll explain better.

step 1: a set was made with software cad
Step 2: Saved in .rh format (deep exploration - do not know how) from which the .max file was generated
Step 3: From the .max axieme I should delete all the components that do not need (the file will serve for a cave in rv)

Can you tell me if in 3ds there is, like, a feature tree or something, to eliminate the components I don't need?

thanks to all

No, I'm sorry, there's nothing like that. if you press h you can select from a list geometries, lights, rooms etc... but when you enter 3ds the features no longer exist as such

Thank you. and how do you think it is possible, if it is, to eliminate components from a set loaded in 3ds?

"coleman" method that I know...it would be better to suppress unnecessary processing outside 3ds and to take inside the indispensable strait

Right-click on the object: turn into editable poly and then delete what you don't need.

Thank you. that you know you can also do using a "schematic view"?

excuse but once you turn all the axieme into "editable poly" I use to delete?

in the right panel, select the object or even the individual faces and prizes canc(cancel).
