management of changes in a set

Good morning, everyone.
Today I address myself to you to ask how to manage the changes of a set and therefore of details with solidworks.
starting from a set, in which the customer asks me to shorten lower and change different protections banks and hoppers.
some of these details have references related to the axieme itself, then couplings on the spot.
I proceeded this way, loaded the axieme and saved the design with the number that identifies the modification, as I would have done with autocad.
at this point every time I have to change a particular, I laugh it and always check extension for change.
doing so, however, tells me that the detail has references related to the axieme without modification extension and therefore to change it I have to delete all references.
I do all this immeasurable workmanship and then find the drawing boards that refer to the old drawings, some of these tables had been obtained through the body select, so if I replace the model the table goes in crisis and the views do not consider the flat repetition I had performed.

what is the correct procedure to manage changes with solidworks, is there any advanced course to learn the best system or can you be boated by self-taught?

the revised file must remain with the current name. then the obsolete files must be renamed with a progressive index that identifies the version. in these files references should be blocked

I thank you for your concern, as always very kind.
but if I keep the file revised with the current name I lose the history of changes in the axieme?
and if I renounce the parts that I have to change then I have to remake the table with the modified detail?

the old file will take the revision code.
alternatively when you have to make a general review at.assieme make a pack&go by inserting a suffix and then archive it as passed. and always work on that with the original names

One thing I don't understand about pack&go is that when I execute it, I also carry all the company standards in the folder, small tension axes, etc., the only way is to uncheck them in the pack&go stage or are there more practical solutions?

the pack&go loads everything that has a reference to the file that is managed.
