Good morning,
I have no experience about it, you can install a 400 bar pressure gauge with 1/4" bspp (cylindrical gas) male on a hole 1/4"f bspt (conical gas).
on the fact that you can screw up for some thread ok, but then I'm sure you keep these pressures?
in the market the pressure gauges are found only with attack1/4"m bspp or 1/4"m nptf.

if someone has experience regarding or reference regulations to share I thank you very much.

Good morning.

with regard to the coupling of conical and cylindrical fillets a rule found years ago in a catalog:
g threads have cylindrical shape in compliance with the en-iso 228-1 standard. the r threads have conical shape in compliance with the iso 7-1 standard. in the case of a thread size 1/8", for example, threads are specified with the g1/8 or r1/8. male threads (cylindrical) can be screwed only in female threads. male threads (conical) can be screwed into threads g or r female.
As far as the estate is concerned, I do not know, two accounts should be made with the fluid in question and the components used.

male bspt is compatible with female bspt (obviously) but also with female bspp. It can never work, with any thread, cylindrical male in conical female, just for a geometric question.

As for the rating, I recommend checking the datasheets or fitting standards (in the case of cylindrical threads, where a seal is required, the rating also depends on the choice of this).

those pressures are sustainable without problems with threads g1/4''' (bspp 1/4'''), but you always check with datasheets: in case of doubt ask the manufacturer.

also try to look here, where you find a list of rules

thank you for the answers, I also came to these conclusions, but I did not like them.... I looked for from all the suppliers I know to find these 1/4" gauges bspt but it seems that from us only bspp or npt !!!. So I know I have to look for them in wool or in Australia!
thanks again and good weekend
