Hello, everyone.
I don't know if I've posted the right place or not but I'm going on.

I opened the manual of mechanics zanichelli (1994 edition) I began to doubt my Italian, (but I liked how the manual exposes things) , I wondered if hoepli or the new edition of the same zanichelli, were written a little better and with more complete and updated tables.

I have the manual of the mechanical engineer of the hoepli edition of about ten years ago and sincerely it was not bad apart from wrong formulas.... the cremonese manual is much worse. I've been using manuals in English for years and they're all one more thing....and then I have my dispenses that reach over 2000 pages of patterns, formulas and practical strategies. Those manuals recommend them in high school but are not functional at work.

I have both hoepli manuals, mechanics (white) and mechanical engineer (blue). I believe that all in all is a good base, at least for a student or not very complex projects.. net - as mechanicalmg said - of some bad errors in formulas (generally I check the formula on both if I have doubt :d).

good idea, I'm starting to make it myself with spreadsheets! What texts do you use in English?

I use a lot of texts in English and I mentioned them in the various posts where they asked for useful books to design. If you try to find him.

for the design part use in Italian the volumes of niemann - elements of machines. for gears I use almost completely the guides of khk gears in English and some henriot consultation - theoretical and practical, in Italian and some straw from other books to have a complete picture on helical wheels, lightenings, toothed crowns and geometry as well as profile corrections. in Italian there are the manuals skf both elements of mechanics and technical manual. mechanisms and mechanical devices - in the sclater. for fatigue analysis the peterson's stress concentrations. the shigley's mechanical engineering design very useful for having the concepts of mechanical organs ready sl fly. In Spanish there is a beautiful formulario manual de formulas Tecnicas - kurt gieck....poi there are a barrel to use for the various socks and things....for that then I sintetizzo in my notes....otherwise I always need all the books to do the puzzle.

I can see that there is no real meeting point:)

research and so much experience...and especially n angel as mechanicsmg that spends all I am time explaining!

Thank you.

I do it by passion, by vocation and by social utility. I think if we can all have a high preparation we make less effort and we can devote ideas for prototypes and evolved things

great philosophy! Perhaps they were all like this... especially in Italy you are afraid that you will be stolen the place!
